Hidden Camera & Bug Detector does not collect any personal information. Specifically, we never collect:

• Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number, device ID)
• Location history or GPS coordinates
• Camera images or video recordings
• Network scan results or device names
• Usage analytics or crash reports
• Advertising identifiers

2. Permissions We Request

Location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION)
Android requires Location permission to scan for nearby Wi-Fi access points and Bluetooth devices. This is a mandatory Android platform requirement. We do not record, store, or transmit your location coordinates.

Camera (CAMERA)
Used exclusively for the Lens Finder feature — a live camera preview to help detect reflective camera lenses. We do not record, capture, save, or transmit any images or video.

3. Third-Party Services

The app does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics libraries, advertising networks, or cloud services. All processing is performed locally on your device.

4. No Account Required

The app works fully offline and does not require or offer user accounts, login, or registration of any kind.

5. Data Storage

The only data stored on your device is a single preference flag that records whether you have completed the first-launch onboarding. This is stored in Android's local SharedPreferences and is never transmitted anywhere.

6. Children's Privacy

Because we collect no personal data whatsoever, the app is safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
